Abstract OnthebasisoftheobservationsbyTJboreholedilatometeratovertwentystationsofChinaBorehole DilatometerNetwork,theearth’sspheroidaloscillationsexcitedbythe26December2004Sumateraearthquakecan beextracted.Thestatisticanalysesofthesedataaredoneandmanyvibrationmodesareidentified.TheQvaluefor 0S9~0S16modesiscomputedandcomparedwiththatofPREMmodel,anditisfoundthattheresultsapproachto eachother.Theamplitudespectrumandphasespectrumofthe0S3~0S25spheroidaloscillationsrecordedatsixteen stationsaredrawn.Theresultsshowthattheamplitudesofthelowandmidfrequencyspheroidaloscillationsare biggerthanthoseofthehighfrequencyspheroidaloscillations,however,allofthespectraatthestationsaredifferent fromeachother.
