Abstract The information processor cabinet is an important part of the seismic prewarning instrument. In order to maintain the cabinet’s integrity, a lot of bolts are used in this system. When the earthquake happens, the connecting failure of the bolts may destroy the cabinet’s integrity and make the system stop working normally in bad condition. This paper focuses on the research on the fixing bolts of cabinet. In the earthquake condition, the bolts are modeled and analyzed by using the finite element analysis with the SolidWorks and its Simulation module，and so the antiseismic evaluation is achived.
