Abstract On the basis of the study on the operational principle and structure of force balance accelerometer, a portable testing device of force balance accelerometer was designed. The device meets the industry standard(DB/T 10-2001) of digital strong motion accelerometer, and a practical experiment has confirmed the feasibility of the testing device.
