RESEARCH ON EFFECTS OF SATELLITE ORBIT ERROR ON SAR INTERFEROMETRY

Abstract According to the relationship between satellite orbital parameters (parameters of coordinates) and radar interferometry baseline parameters the relationship of error propagation between satellite orbit errors and baseline parameters error can be derived.The paper calculates and discusses the range of baseline parameters analyses the size of influence of the baseline parameters error on the reference phase error, elevation error and simulated interferogram. The results shows that the satellite orbit errors less affects on the elevation error and simulated interferogram error of the SAR interferometry, but much on the reference phase and the influence must be taken into account in the SAR image processing.
