Analysis on Deep Fault System in Zhangjiakou Area Using Gravity Data
Abstract We calculate the Bouguer gravity data of EGM2008 satellite by upward extension and gravity field derivative conversion methods and, by combining seismogeological data, comprehensively analyze the distribution of five major faults, the deformation characteristics of structural units, and the buried depth of the faults in Zhangjiakou area. We obtain some properties and specific parameter values of the faults. The results show that satellite gravity data can qualitatively describe or roughly quantitatively analyze the faults in a large area, which has the advantages of complete data and low cost, and has reference value for fault exploration using gravity data in the future.
