EFFECT OF DISTANCE BY ROTATION OF FALLING OBJECT

Abstract Two types of errors in the measured distance of the test masses are studied,when the masses of absolute gravimeters has been rotate in the freefall.The one is caused by refractive indices of the retro reflector,the other is due to the retro reflector rotate by the center of mass.The relationship between both errors and the size of the reflector and the rotation of the test mass are researched.
