ANALYSIS OF STRAIN ENERGY RELEASE RATE OF EARTHQUAKE AREA IN TAIWAN

Abstract The strain energy release rates of earthquake area in Taiwan were analyzed from M5.0 earthquake data from 1900 to 2009. The results show that there is peroidical change of strain energy release rate by three years,or may be about 24 years. The strain energy cumulation and release of the earthquake area in Taiwan show the function relation:
