Abstract This paper choses 16 crossfault deformation observation points in SichuanYunnan region, for analyzing the quantitative relation between the relative sliding of fault plane and relative displacement of the sites on the two walls on ground surface and then calculates the amounts of horizontal twist, vertical displacement and the ratio between them, and analyzs the relation between the ratio and the earthquake activity simply.
Key words :
Sichuan-Yunnan area
