AN IMPROVED DENOISING ALGORITHM BASED ON WAVELET MODULAR MAXIMUM

Abstract Combining the method of threshold denoising with scale tracking theory by Witkin, the improved denosing algorithm of Wavelet modular maximum can reject out the modular maximum value from the noise, and recover the signal efficiently.Compared with the traditional denosing methods by threshold value and translation invariance, the algorithm increases the signal to noise ratio.
