Abstract:The vertical crustal deformation in Tianjin and the relation between which and the Wenan Ms5.1 earthquake are researched by using the data of the GPS network in Tianjin. The results show that the uplift region had extended from north to south Tianjin area before the Wenan Ms5.1 earthquake, the change was dominant by rise in the whole region as the closing to earthquake and then the subsidence region had extended from south to north after the earthquake. The variation of the time sequence curve of the GPS sites shows that there is a obviously anomaly happened in southern part of Tianjin before and after the earthquake, lasting a period of several months or more than a year before the earthquake and resumed after the earthquake.
