Abstract:A fine 3dimensional element model of Tangshan fracture zone based on 2 seismic refraction and reflection profilings across Tangshan fracture zone was presented. GPS data and tectonic stress observing results were used to constrain the simulation. in the study areawere compared to insure the reliability of the simulation was verified by the comparison of focal mechanism and the element results. Analysis results of equivalent stress and shear stress on the XY plane indicate the seismogenic possibility of Tangshan fracture zone.
