Abstract:After reviewing the prediction of LOD based on the LS+AR model, the influence of different cycle term on prediction accuracy is analyzed by using different combination of the main cycle terms. The results show that longterm cycles of 18.6year and 9.3year, the shortterm cycle of onethird year have great impact on LOD prediction accuracy. Therefore, it is recommended that the above three cycle terms should be taken into account in highaccuracy LOD prediction except for annual and semiannual cycle terms
